A Tale of Stuff

I plan to make a lore on some galaxy I will think of, it will be in many smaller parts and isnt tied to a galaxy in game meaning no chances of the galaxy leaving us forever and ever, Ill get to this tommarow, i feel like doing this in order to see if anyone else will make some fiction of there own.

Re: A Tale of Stuff

Billions of years ago, there were the ancient Erosov Colonies, they were a people on the edge of the galaxy, these colonies were the first worlds to hold life willing and able to expand quickly to the stars.
They spread out of their small enclave out too the center of the galaxy, however almost in the blink of the eye world by world died out, the people were unhappy and the leaders all but petty and worthless to such a large empire, civil wars formed into rebellions, and rebellions into empires but on the last stand of the now
Erosov Imperial House they lanched
Inter-solar missle built to defend against hostile invaders thousands of years before back when the Hederi were still a threat
The galaxy was laid to waste, life gone, wiped from all worlds that the Erosovs choose to give life too, any remains of there legacy gone, but one thing was left a run down research station called
"RS-1"which was once the center of technology now unused.Something lied deep within the bowles of the station, something which would make hope come again to the bleak galaxy, Something that would not activate untill a million years after the Great Interplanatary Desolation.

Re: A Tale of Stuff

GLOSSERY (Pt.1/?)
I hope to edit and add onto this, also someguy if you see this can you make this the second post so its before the firsr chunk of the story?

The Erosovs:The First peoples to expand and to form an empire, they brought life to the galaxy stemming from their worlds, their empire lasted 2.4 millions years, however the Erosovian population was pretty low untill a few hundred thousand years before their callopse, when the population exploded they changed into an imperial nation focused on core worlds. The Erosovs had a basic galactic culture in that they were pretty normal, however they could build huge ships and oribital stations beyond compare. The Erosovs brought life into the galaxy and defended it against invaders but in the end met thier match against themselves, their long history mostlt forgetten with few remains, however the most lasting impact besides life creating was their ability to create huge solar highways which allowed for quick movement, these highways were built to connect all solar systems with life, which were only a thousand or so compared to the millions of lifeless stars of the galaxies, solar highways were so advanced they cannot decay or be damaged.

The Hederi:The Hederi were alien invaders who attacked core Erosov worlds and had a culture of ripping apart planets for resources and killing all alien races including the Erosovs, The Hederi were said to have hugr bodies with exoskeletan like armor on certan limbs, they were humanoid (a commen thing in that region of the universe) but spoke in a crytpic way, thier tech was used to forge the solar highways.
(Note that The Hederi were mostly unknown and it is unknown where they came from or why they left to attack the Erosovs.)

The Great Inter-planatary Desolation:The fall of the Erosovs which led to the ending of life for a few million years.

RS-1:The first and greatest Erosov research station, the station was huge had the mass of the moon and had a few millions souls on board every second while in use, much knowledge was gained from this station including the plans for the first solar highways, little remains of the station and its location is now unknown after it teleported to a unkown region of space.

The Robotic Cells:While cells did have name it was lost just like most of Erosov history, they were lead by the AI if the AI was damaged then a single cell could try to make itself into an AI to prevent the loss of the cells. How the cells function has been lost as they havnt exsisted for at least half a million years, bit they did to more good than any empire could, yet in the end the AI failed them.

The Javai:A huge Hederi flagship which was the center of all Hederi operations before being captured by the Erosovs, some say the flagship was the size of a small moon and had a gravitational pull and others say it was merely a fortified Hederi research station, ethier way the Hederi didnt want it lost and attempted to destroy the AI it held within, although everyone agrees the Javai was also the center of planet harvestment and was followed by Hederi cities

Hederi cities: Massive ships which held huge amounts of Hederi citizens, few remains of the ships as many crashed into planets when they were attacked by the Erosovs, these cities were mobile as the Hederi moved from star to star.

The AI:The AI led the robotic cells from a desolate planet and reseeded life due to its semi-sentient nature, however the AI was found inside the Javai, before it was captured by the Erosovs it was used to harvest planets for use in the Hederi cities, the AI was recorded to have a intelligence like nothing else, however the AI began to dislike the life it made, feeling as if it was consuming everything like its makers, the AI lead a 16 thousand year wae in order to kill off its children empires but it failed, the AI was deactivated and all robotic cells cleaned off the map, although some still say the AI is waiting for a chance to consume everything.

The AI War:Little is known of the war but what is known is that 1.Both AIs tried to vie for control of orbital stations and colonies 2.in the end the newer AI was defeated and its home planet harvested, an extreme act even for an AI and 3.The old AI prevented the cells from building new AIs to protect itself and all future life, the AI likely knew that its time was limited and accepted this

The "Newer" AI:While programmed the same as the old AI it had different veiws due to its partial sentience, it fought the older AI as it thought that intelligence life would be the end of the age of the AIs, prehaps the AI wasnt wrong.

Hakoun Protocall: A protocall enforced by the AI to ensure no empire would expand too far for comfort, however over population on hand on the intelligent species led to the protocall renderd useless, the AI tried to find a solution not involving war but it was to no help, war was the only option.

The Great Population Event: This event marked a time in which space was lost and overpopulation ensued, the AI was ignored after this event has the people had become or at least felt, more powerful than the AI, wars began between empires as they fought for space, even barren planets became battle grounds, hundreds of millions parished in many short wars, while space is still limited, empires now know how to tolerate that, but back then the did not and the resultes were bloody.

The Great Stab: Even as the people were fighting amongst themselves the smartest of them realized the AI and its threat, the smartest of the empires met up and decided that in order to survive the AI must be removed from the picture, the AI was unaware of the rapid unity collecting among the empires, the ships once used for bloodshed against other empires were turned against the AI, the war lasted fornthousands of years and saw countless dead, the leaders of the war thought the war would be short and swift but it was not, by the ene of the violent war billions were dead, planets wiped out, the center of the galaxy now even void of intelligent life, but something was hidden there, something so very important.

The First Expidition: This expidition was sent to scout out the planets and send back any data of remaining life in the centerof the galaxy, however the team was sweeped off course by a massive gravitational force, has it so happens this force was a huge black hole, not the central blackhole of the galaxy but a huge one never the less, the team was on course for the massive black hole, however to the supprise of the team there was a structure, partially encasing the black hole, the size of the structure was beyond compare, bigger than even some planets in its mass alone, the team now realised that this structure is ancient, relating to the little known erosovs, they reached the center of the station after 3 days of searching, even enduring the force of the black hole, they found a command console, the console would allow then to controll all the solar highways, but they could not contact any empire for the black hole was too strong and ruined communications, there they made a rushed decision, to activate the the highways once and for good, they did so and left in a rush from the black hole, the highways had been activiated, and warfare and expansion would never be the same.

The Galactic Revolution: This event was spurred on by a declining economy and many wars pushed on by the nobal families, the revolution spread like wildfire, the battles were tough but were only begining a few planets were under the grasp of the rebels, however due to how widespread poorer or opressed people were the revolution took hold on many worlds at once, the nobles at first couldnt do anything as workers and poor merchants stopped working and joined the rebel cause, fights and battles broke out on planets and a few worlds were left lifeless for some time due to nuclear weapons.

NOTE. This glossery is no longer being updated a new glossery is being made.

Re: A Tale of Stuff

Deep in the bowles of RS-1 was an experiment which was one of the most closest guarded tech in the galaxy to exsist, it was used in the construction of the solar highways by the Erosovs in order to prevent the use of mass labor, this technology consisted of small cell like robots, which would follow a code and continue to gather resources and build large structures, at the core of this technology was a semi-sentient AI model taken from the Hederi flagship Javai, the AI was then remade to the uses of the Erosovs, it was kept on a planet barren of life but make no mistake, the AI could build anything and manage quadrillions of the robotic cells. The AI had been deactivated after the war as RS-1 fell into decay above its world at the time, however during the time huge meteor storms ripped through the cosmos and one ripped through the station, the hull was torn to shreds but it reactivated the AI by causing a distress signal that started the AI again
Only one robotic cell survived, the AI orded the cell to harvest some of the station and to land on the planet once it gained a certain mass, these robotic cells did something no empire could do today, but in the end they fell to those they gave life to.

Re: A Tale of Stuff

The cells grew and grew collecting matter in a rush to prevent the nearby star going supernova and runing any chance of life returning, the entire planet gone withing a mere 30000 years, the robotic cells split off into groups and began to expand like a virus, after a few thousand years of pure expansion the AI began to rebirth life into the core worlds, world after world became home to life, but the AI waited upon the creation of intelligent life forms, for it knew the destruction it brought. The AI waited too long however, the robotic cells began to divide, the moment a second AI was made both conflicted eacb other, for the first time since the end of life war was fought, huge ships contested for planets however only 1 AI would win, the newer AI insisted that intelligent life should not be made, but however the AI lost and its planet harvested, the old AI made a new program for all cells to follow, no new AI were to be made to protect itself and any future new life.

500000 years had passed, the galaxy was controlled by the AI, the first intelligent life form was made, complex lifeforms were made before but none could match the Erosovs prowess in intelligence and ability, each planet gaind 1 million people, a new age had began and the wheel of time marched on the AI.

Re: A Tale of Stuff

World by world had been seeded into action within 300 years it was almost as if life never left. The people knew little about the AI but they got help from it, soon enough they built the first new empires however under the Hakoun Protocal enforcee by the AI no empire was to control more than two stars, yet after a thousand years populations bursted, two stars were not enough and like a pandemic the empires expanded, huge ships fought each other as space closed in, soldier after soldier killed for there colonies and homeworlds, the AI failed to maintain the species growth, it was ethier genocide or the end of the AI, but the people acted first, all empires under one banner attacked the AI beating it back, billions of souls killed to ensure life goes on, wave after wave, in the end only devastation remained, the victory over the AI was a brutal and unfair one, however the great solar highways had not been activated, for the station that controlled them lied in the center of the galaxy, an area void of life since the war with the AI, empires fought aggreseivly to reach the core, the unity the people had known gone in the face of oportunity, the people thirsted for peace, through bloodshed peace shall be maintained, this is a lesson the people had known well, but something the empires could never understand, the first empire to fall to the common people was the Federation of Ghahad, but this was the first of many, but an expedition team had reached the highway control station, it was up to then who would have control of the highways, the fate of the galaxy, in thier hands alone.
